The 2002 African Elephant Status Report contained an erratum. This has been fixed in the display of data found on www.elephantdatabase.org, but for the purposes of clarity, it is briefly outlined below.
- The continental summary totals (page 19) are incorrectly displayed. The numbers that appear in the detail cells under POSSIBLE should be under PROBABLE, and vice versa. The totals row is correct.
